Consistency, responsibility, reliability, credibility, people, new start, community, roots and future.
These are the keywords which guided the event’s narrative.
All of them tell Coopbox’s story perfectly, how the company has been able to reinvent itself and not give in to the signs of the times.
What was significant was the fact that each of them was spoken by different people, depending on the role that they played in this journey, a story which is still of great significance and we hope continues to prosper long into the future.
“We have chosen the future” was the tagline chosen for the celebratory event, held at Coopbox’s premises in Bibbiano near Reggio Emilia, northern Italy, to mark the company’s first 50 years in business and the new purchase of the production plants.
The location was not random, as Fabrizio Guidetti, Vice President of Coopbox reminded attendees as he introduced the conference. Coopbox indeed represents the link between the three main players which bring it to life: our people, who never stopped believing in the company, even in the darkest moments; the production plant, the beating heart of the company’s activities which, thanks to the intervention of Gruppo Happy, was able to rise again; and the local area, Coopbox representing an important industrial hub for the region, giving work to dozens of people in the community.
Giovanni Biasio, as MD of Gruppo Happy, hailed the story of Coopbox as an example of consistency and vision, able to draw on the past to build a shared future. In this celebratory climate, we also heard from Don Wojciech, Bibbiano’s parish priest, who highlighted the joy of living alongside this important achievement. Speaking for some of the local institutions were Andrea Carletti, former Mayor of Bibbiano; Giorgio Zanni, President of the Province of Reggio Emilia; and Stefano Marazzi, current Mayor of Bibbiano, reminding everyone how the support of the local area has been crucial in overcoming the challenges faced. Finally, we heard from Antonio Terzoni, MD of Coopbox, and Andrea Lombardi, production manager, who highlighted the heart of the company: its continuous investment in people, in their training and growth, to build a better, more solid future, together.
Concluding the event, naturally, was a shared moment of conviviality. The morning ended in a party mood with refreshments provided by some food truck vendors, giving invitees the chance to meet up, get to know each other and network under a single flag: that of Coopbox.
