From 9 to 11 November, Gruppo Happy took part in the first edition of the Domani Lavoro event, an unmissable opportunity for companies and new talent to meet.

The fair was created with the idea of allowing students, recent graduates or workers looking for new careers to learn about the job opportunities that the area offers and, for companies, to meet people who are willing to get involved and embark on a career path. We at the Happy Group also took the opportunity to make ourselves known, presenting ourselves with a booth aimed at conveying to interested parties our values, our international reality and all the positions that our group can offer, with one goal, well summarized by our motto: Chose to be Happy! Over the course of the three-day event, high school boys and girls and young recent graduates had the opportunity to interface directly with us; welcoming them were our colleagues Carolina Branca, Roxana Husaru, Francesca Filippini, and Anna Brunori, ready to answer any of their questions and gather their interests. During the fair, together with Fabrizio Bernini, we took part in an event organized by theKnowledge Hub, entitled “Young people and businesses comparing for a more sustainable work and world“, a moment of confrontation between young people from high schools in the province of Brescia and companies in the area, to highlight the challenge that schools experience today in charting a path that prepares them for the world of work, but also an opportunity for companies to make themselves known as attractive realities in the area. The meeting began with a presentation by Giuliano Noci, vice-chancellor of the Milan Polytechnic and director of the Hub of Knowledge, who immediately passed the floor to IIS Don Milani headmistress Claudia Covri for an initial speech. The issue is clear: “Schools must be able to change the focus from the program-doctor who teaches-to skills-the student who learns.” The goal is to train boys and girls to prepare for the world of work, through curricular activities that can make them put what they learn into practice.
In the words of Edgar Morin, “School must train not a full head, but a well-made head.”

The girls from high schools in the province of Brescia then took the floor, each expressing their dreams, perspectives and expectations regarding the working world.
Finally, the floor went to the companies: for us, Fabrizio Bernini spoke, who stressed the need to create paths that can introduce students to companies, starting as early as the last years of their schooling, proposing projects and training experiences. Finally, the head of human resources at Elea S.p.A. also reiterated how fundamental the dialogue between the world of work and new recruits is today, with the aim of creating moments of confrontation to bring the expectations of companies closer to those that boys and girls have today in relation to the industrial world. Tomorrow I work was, therefore, a great opportunity to meet and listen, allowing us to open up to the labor market and make ourselves known, under the banner of our motto: Chose to be Happy!
