XPS trays are a food packaging solution that has accompanied Italian and European food and retail industries for more than 50 years.

Of all food packaging solutions, it has the best environmental profile as it uses up to 50% less raw material. It has excellent functional characteristics, lightness, rigidity and machinability. In addition, it has the finest recyclability characteristics among polymers.

Today, r-XPS trays are even more sustainable, recyclable and circular. This result, the first of its kind in Europe, rewards the joint effort of GRUPPO HAPPY, PRO FOOD and UNIONPLAST in cooperation with COREPLA, ENI VERSALIS and FOREVER PLAST.

This is an ECODESIGN PROJECT in accordance with the GREEN ECONOMY and with European directives on recycling and sustainability.
